-the Two jobs that he tried he couldn't do
-he realize that he had become detatched from his employees
-after 911 they got their workers new jobs and this gave them very loyal employees
-they work very hard

Donald Trump
-went through bankrupcy in the 1990's but made tons of money again
-wanted to become the best of the best
-his father was his mentor
-education was really helpful

-he is dislexic but that never stopped him from achieving his goals
-has over 400 successful businesses
-you have to work to achieve lots

Herb Kelleher
-started an airline business
-kept all their planes the same size so it would be cheaper to make and everyone would know how how to fly fix and opperate them

-was the person who made popcorn big
-started out with just a popcorn stand
-it was a hard market but he kept to it
-face the risk and learn from your failures

-was the starter of Starbucks
-the original starbucks didn't want to make coffee so he started up his own company

-became a friend of presidents
-built a hotel chain from the ground up
-was born in 1887 in new mexico and was the first born
-Hilton learned the value of hard work and deep faith
-he excelled at arithmetic
-worked at his fathers store and lesrned how to deal with customers and how to give the customer a fair deal while still making money
-was one of 8 children
-his father made tons of money from the store
-though his father obgected he became a politician
-he love the thriving social life of politicians
-he set about making his first dream come true
-opened up a bank with the little money he had
-he went to war in france
-loved his time in the army
-he went to texas in 1919
-was adamant about being a banker
-he got turned away from the bank and went to a nearby hotel
-he saw there that the hotel was full to the brim
-he bought his first hotel for $40,000
-it was a smashing success

Melanie Houlker Utopia Academy

-runs the hair department of the school

-the school has 3 sections within it

-their graduates don't have to work at a utopia spa if they don't want to

-to get the job she had to have a hair dressing degree and a degree in design

-she had to get at least a C+ in English to get into college

-was a bit of a problem for her couldn't get a good enough mark

-after high school she went to work at fabric land

-her dad sat down and talked to her and asked her what she wanted to do with her life

-she told him she wanted to do hair design

-he had already set up for her to go to school for hair design

-worked her way through the ten months of schooling in hair design

-had a hard time getting a job but eventually got one at a strip mall

-her first day at work and she didn't get any customers

-second day she only got to cut 2 kids hair

-she made no money so she quit and sent out tons of resumes

-she got a job at great clips

-after 2 weeks she quit that job and went to her instructor at college

-her college instructor made a phone call and got her a job in Coquitlam

-she worked as and apprentice for a world class hair designer

-worked there for a year and decided to quit because she wanted to do her own houses

-but he offered to pay for her gas and said she could live in his basement sweet

-because she worked so hard he was a great reference for her

-didn't leave her job until she actually had another job

-she was the master stylist at the salon green apple in the cottonwood mall

-she saw that utopia academy was hiring and applied there to be a basic instruction

-the people ahead of her eventually quit so she kept moving up

-when she is not in the classroom she is working on improving everything

-she partly works for people who do hair backstage for shows while still running the school

-utopia can give you an education in hair design and fashion

-she has 35 hair dressing students

-they offer student loans through the company

-is one of the only industries where the customer pays you to advertise your business

-the economy barely effects the business

-advertisments are everywhere now
-there is too much clutter because they are always trying to make their add look better than the other ones
-advertisements make up aot of our world
-went to a party that was actually just an add for a new plane company called song
-they decided to make a new culture about flying
-they realized that there is a big lack in meeting the needs of women on planes
-they got someone who is really good at designing to help them redesign their product and make it more appealing to women
-in their commercial they didn't even put anything about planes in it
-does it go to the heart or the head?
-people want to belong to something
-45000 people went to the saturn factory to see other people who had saturns
-people think that if they buy someting it will fullfill them
-differentiate yourself from others or die

-The College Grand Canyon University was put onto the stock market

-was into drugs but someone read him the bible and he became a christian
-his mentor told him to go back to school
-decided to go buy a university
-he wrote a book on how to run a college
-people are coming back to school to get a better education because the economy is going down
-one of Micheal's friends started up his own colleges and ran them like corporations
-the university could come up with new courses in days
-they designed the courses to the customers
-they went into the stock market and went up tons
-grand canyon was one of the best examples
-40 000 students are now there
-most of the students are doing their classes online
-its 400-500 cr/hr
-some schools have tried to make profit rather than give the people a proper education
-they tried to get the salesman to force students to get recruited
-is thinking about investing in a school that is struggling
-many students have more than 10 000 dollars in loans
-many schools are charging students money they will have a really hard time paying back because of high interest levels
-every american will need a full educational degree in 2020
