Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?

Do schools kill creativity?
-education is supposed to tech us to deal with the world even though the world is changing every 5 years
-creativity is just as important as literacy
-kids arent frightened of being wrong
-if your not prepared to be wrong then you wont create anything
-we are born artists and grow out of it
-as we grow up we are educated from the waist the head and then to the one side of the brain
-we are educated to become proffessors in a sense
-deggrees arent worth anything
-intellegence is dinamic
-creativity come from different ways of seeing things
-intelligence is distinct
-if all insects would die then all the life on the earth would end within 50 years
-if all humans left the earth animals and life would flourish

What can we do to personalize education to meet our needs?
-create classes that help us develope creativity and ways to deal with and be
successful in the world we live in

Bad Experiences

We called the store and asked if they had a certain item in stock and when we showed up it was something totally different and when we asked where to find this item they were unhelpfull as to where we could find it.
-the worker could have tried to be a bit more friendly and understanding and could have tried to help out a bit more

Went to find something in the store and the person i asked didnt know where we could find something because they didnt work in that department.
-this person should know more info about the place they work at so that they can help out customers better and keep customers happier

The person at the till wouldn't give us the discount unless we spen another 5 dollars when it wouldn't have been a big deal to just to give it to us so we had to get out of line and find something to buy for another $5 and then wait in line again.
-it would have been way easier if the person just gave us the discount because the company would still make lots of money and it would have saved us time as hassle
